FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA
Friuli Venezia Giulia has its origins from the union between the two regions of Friuli and Venezia Giulia. It is located in the north-east of the Italian peninsula and its territory is divided in about 40% mountains and about 40% plains, the rest are hills. On the southern side it looks over the Adriatic Sea; the capital city of the region is Trieste and the other provinces are Gorizia, Pordenone and Udine.
